Noodling

'Noodling is when a foolhardy bastard swims to the bottom of a muddy riverbed and he sticks his hand down into the deepest,darkest hole,he is looking for a prize catfish.Now sometimes the catfish does live there,and the noodler pulls it out with his bare hand and drags it ashore,but sometimes,he reaches in that hole and he finds a snapping turtle.Bites his hand clear off.'

The above sentences are from 'Prison Break',it's cool,isn't it?That reminded me of my childhood days.Lunch after a group of playmates would slip out home and get toghter when adults taking their nap to a fish farm pool, wade waters and noodle fish.Noodling is different from Other Fishing Sports,you may spike the fish as possible as you can,and then you may have a big chance.As a Chinese saying goes:Muddling the water to catch the fish.In my hometown,there are many noodling chances,pool linked with small river for fish farm and irrigation,when there is no water from the river to full the pool,the pool would be dry,before the pool goes to die,that's the very chance.If I am not wrong my biggest catch was a 4.5kgs Catfish.
